gabriel's 7th birthday

at 5:33 pm, seven years ago gabriel was born at eglin air force base hospital in florida. this day is hard for us every year, we always look around and think what kind of things would he be doing for his age, we think about what he would look like and act like. most of all we just wish he was here and alive.

now that logan is here we are getting to experience all the things we longed for so much, including getting up at night with him. somehow having logan makes us feel a bit like we have gabriel as well. i believe we will always miss gabriel, but having logan and soon having finn makes it easier. our parental instincts kicked in when we had gabriel but we didn't have any one to nurture, but now we do and that definitely helps.
